东栅当代艺术中心的规模
东栅当代艺术中心规划总建筑面积约为4万平方米、已建成6800平方米。

东栅当代艺术中心核心项目展览空间
展览空间由别具风格的厂房改建而成，面积为2800平方米，并已成为目前长三角地区面积最大、条件最好即便在整个国内也屈指可数的专门用于当代艺术展览展示的艺术空间。室外还有3000平方米的场地可为大型雕塑作品、装置作品及行为表演提供舒适宽阔的场地空间。

东栅当代艺术中心实验艺术广场
实验艺术广场拥有1500平方的场地和舞台，将不间断的邀请国内外知名的先锋艺术家，举办前卫音乐艺术、多媒体、时装秀等艺术活动。

东栅当代艺术中心当代艺术论坛
论坛将有中国著名的艺术评论家和理论家主笔，每年将举办不少于2次的学术峰会。

东栅当代艺术中心拥有10间面积在60-112平方米的艺术家工作室,邀请国内外当代艺术家来艺术中心。

东栅当代艺术中心DS画廊
东栅当代艺术中心将依托整体项目的核心东栅艺术空间的整体运营设立DS画廊，画廊拥有300平方米展示区域，严格遵循国际标准，并将代理、经销国内外著名当代艺术家的作品，同时将不断扶持、挖掘及包装本土艺术家，推动当代艺术的国际国内收藏及国内艺术品市场的健康发展。

东栅当代艺术中心拥有面积450平方米的当代艺术餐厅、咖啡、酒吧,目前已投入使用。

东栅当代艺术中心DS青年旅社
东栅当代艺术中心拥有建筑面积为1000平方米的小规模的艺术家宾馆，为在东栅艺术中心学习交流访友旅游的国内外艺术界人士及热爱艺术的国际背包旅客提供住宿便利，目前已投人使用。

东栅艺术中心的宗旨
东栅艺术中心由政府基金、企业基金及艺术基金合作投资运作，由企业及艺术界精英联手打造，选择嘉兴这个已有两千多年文明历史的江南古城（是王国维、李叔同、矛盾、徐志摩、丰子恺、蒲华等文化大师的诞生地）依托江、浙、沪雄厚的经济基础及完全融入国际社会的环境，致力于打造成具国际意义的，在国内最具原创的当代艺术中心，迎接风起云涌的中国文化艺术产业浪潮，推动当代艺术在中国的全面发展。

Size of the Dongzha Contemporary Art Center (DCAC)
The planned area o DCAC is approx. 40,000 square meters, 6,800 square meters of which already constructed.

Exhibition space for the core project of DCAC
The exhibition space was renovated from factory buildings with unique styles. Covering 2,800 square meters, DCAC has become an artistic space that is the largest and best in the Yangtze Delta Region and even one of the best in China for the exhibition of contemporary arts. There is also a 3,000-square-meter field outdoors providing comfortable space for the sculptures, decorative works as well as behavior performances.

Experimental arts plaza of DCAC
The experimental arts plaza has fields and stages totaling 1,500 square meters, which will continuously invite famous pioneering artists, sponsor trendy rats actimities such as concerts, multimedia shows and fashion shows, etc.

Contemporary arts forum of DCAC
The Forum will be hosted by China's famous arts cretics and theoretician and no fewer than 2 academic summits will be held each year.

Artists' studio of DCAC
DCAC has 10 artists' studios, each 60 to 112 square meters large, inviting contemporary from both home and abroad.

DS gallery of DCAC
Depending upon the general operation of the Center, DCAC will also establish a DS gallery, which has a 300-square-meter exhibition area. Strectly anbiding by the international norms, DCAC will deal with masterpieces of famous contemporary artists from both home and abroad. Meanwhile, it will constantly support, seek and promote local artists to propel the healthy decelopment of the national and international collection and domestic art craft market.

DCAC has 450 square meters of dining hall, cafe and bar, which have been put into use.

DS youth hotel of DCAC
DCAC has a small artistic hotel with a floor area of 1,000 spuare meters, providing convenient accommodations for visiting artists from both home and abroad as well as for traveling international art fans.

Motto of DCAC
DCAC is jointly operated by the governmental funds, enterprise funds and art funds and is jointly created by elites from both enterprises and the field of arts. Jiaxing is selected for building the Art Center because it is a vintage town in southern China with over 2000 years of history and it is the place where famous cultural masters such as Wang Guowei, Li Shutong, Mao Dun, Xu Zhimo, Feng Zikai and Pu Hua, etc. were born. Depending upon the powerful economic base in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai and an environment that has completed mingled into the global society, efforts have been made to create a contemporary art center that is international and that is original in China so as to be prepared for the turbulent Chinese cultural&arts trend and to promote the development contemporary arts in China in all aspects.
